S2E7 – God At Work At JCU (Lucy)

God At Work At JCU. Episode of Faith On Campus Podcast by Ben Smart

In this week’s episode of Faith On Campus I interview Lucy, a student at James Cook University in Townsville. Lucy didn’t grow up in a Christian home, but she had a Christian friend who invited her along first to church and then to Bible study. As she looks back she wasn’t actually a Christian, but began to learn more and more about the Bible.

In high school her older sisters used to tease her for wasting her time looking at the Bible, and it’s something that at times she felt embarrassed about. But the teasing didn’t last forever. A few years later her oldest sister Emma left for uni, and in her first year someone in her college offered to read the Bible with her. Emma said yes, and became a Christian later that year!

Have a listen to find out how things went from there. I was really encouraged to hear the way God has been at work in Lucy’s life, as well as the lives of her two older sisters, and I hope you’ll be encouraged too!
