This episode of Faith On Campus is a recording of the most recent talk at UWA Christian Union’s Public Meeting. Normally on this podcast you’ll hear me interviewing a student or staff worker. But the goal of this episode is to let you hear first-hand what goes on in our weekly Public Meeting and get a sense of what it’s like.
This talk is from Hebrews 11, an amazing (though often misunderstood) part of the Bible that encourages Christians to keep trusting God despite the hardships we might face for following Jesus.
The topic of ‘faith’ is pretty central to the argument of Hebrews 11, but it’s a word that is often misunderstood. Often people think of ‘blind faith’ – or believing in something without any evidence. But as you’ll see from Hebrews 11, the Bible means something very different when it talks about faith.
