S2E10 – Campus Ministry Under Covid-19? (Mikey Lynch)

Campus Ministry Under Covid-19? With Mikey Lynch

What does campus ministry look like under Covid-19 restrictions? In recent months Australia has put in place unprecedented lockdown measures to slow the spread of this novel coronavirus. Most parts our lives have been significantly impacted, and campus ministry is no exception. In this episode of Season 2, we speak with Mikey Lynch about what campus ministry looks like under Covid-19.

Mikey is the Staff Team Leader at the University of Tasmania in Hobart, and has years of experience in a church planting context as well. He helps us to think through how we can approach this new season with patience and strategic thinking; instead of just rushing to take all the things we did on campus and move them online, Mikey encourages us to go back to first principles and think about what new rhythms of ministry will best suite the current environment.

Whether you’re a student, a staffworker, a partner of AFES, or just someone who is thinking through what the mission of Jesus looks like in a Covid-19 world, I hope you’ll find this interview helpful!
