S3E1 – Hope For A Broken World (Gen 12)

Faith On Campus Podcast

We’re back for Season 3 of Faith On Campus! Episodes come out each week during university semester, so now that semester is back up and running, so are we.

The Covid-19 pandemic meant that earlier this year, all universities in Australia (and most around the whole world) had to shut down their physical campus presence and move online. This presented both challenges and opportunities, but overwhelmingly my experience (and that of others I’ve talked to) is that being off campus has made it far more difficult to disciple students and make Jesus known to students who don’t yet know him.

Thankfully so far the spread of Covid-19 has been contained in Western Australia, which means that here at UWA we’ve been able to be back in-person on campus. It’s been so good to be back!

Now that we’re back on campus, we’ve continued our public Bible talks in one of the lecture theatres on campus, so for this first episode of season 3, I thought I’d share it with you so you can get a sense of some of what’s going on on our campus. It’s the first talk in an 8-week series in the book of Genesis, looking at the life of Abraham.
